Police departments across the United States are advising officers to proceed with caution in the wake of a fatal shooting, "execution style," of two police officers in Brooklyn, New York, over the weekend
Some have taken measures a step further and asked officers to limit their social media comments, too.
NYPD officers Rafael Ramos, 40, and Wenjian Liu, 32, were shot in their patrol car in broad daylight on Saturday by 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley, who had posted threatening messages on social media prior to the attack.
