NYPD cop killer told passers-by to 'follow him on Instagram' moments before shooting

Moments before shooting dead two police officers in Brooklyn on Saturday, Ismaaiyl Brinsley told two passer-bys to follow him on Instagram and said "watch what I am going to do."


Brinsley also took a Bolt bus to New York from the Baltimore area on the morning of the attack, arriving on Manhattan's west side around 10:15 a.m.



The new details of the attack emerged during a NYPD press briefing on Sunday afternoon. NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said that while Baltimore Police had faxed a wanted post of Brinsley to the department, it came in just one minute before the attack.
