Korean Air Lines execs face arrest over 'nut rage' incident

The Korean Air Lines executive who delayed a flight over the improper service of macadamia nuts could now be facing jail time.


South Korean prosecutors are seeking to arrest Heather Cho, the airline's former vice-president and head of in-flight services. Cho was on a flight leaving John F. Kennedy International Airport Dec. 5 in New York when, after being served the nuts in a bag, she forced the plane to return to the gate, and ordered the head flight attendant off the plane



Since then, Cho has resigned and publicly apologized for the incident. Her father Cho Yang-ho, the airline's chairman, also apologized, saying that he had failed to raise her properly. Read more...
