The gunman who held 18 people hostage in a Sydney cafe for 16 hours in December shot the cafe manager in the back of the head as he knelt on the floor, an inquest into the deadly siege revealed Thursday
Two people, plus the gunman Man Haron Monis, were killed during the siege inside the Lindt Cafe in Sydney's busy central business district on Dec. 15, 2014. Until now, details regarding the events — which ended when police stormed the building in the early hours of Dec. 16 — have been sparse.
