Anita Sarkeesian, a blogger and critic, has faced a deluge of online hate on a daily basis ever since she began pointing out sexism in the video game industry two and a half years ago.
But it can be hard to convey exactly what all that hate looks like. That's why Sarkeesian, who runs the blog Feminist Frequency , laid out the 157 abusive tweets that she received in the last week alone in one post on Tuesday.
All in all, the word "c*nt" appears 31 times and there are at least 24 explicit threats of rape or violence within the seven-day span of hateful messages.
