Classic cartoon character Richie Rich is coming to Netflix — in live-action form
AwesomenessTV's half-hour comedy series Richie Rich has been picked up by the streaming network. The children-geared comedy, starring Jake Brennan in the titular role, will be available in early 2015
The show's premise on some level follows exactly what we've come to know about the character, portrayed first as a 1950s comic book, later as a Hanna-Barbera cartoon and then on film by Macaulay Culkin in 1994: a rich kid gets to do rich kid things.
