Mashable's science editor and resident climate nerd Andrew Freedman became a proud father this week in the only appropriate way for a climate reporter to become a father: during what was hailed as a "potentially historic" blizzard.
Avi Isaac Freedman was born during the peak of the storm in New York on Tuesday at 3:15 a.m. ET, weighing in at a healthy 6 pounds and 14 ounces at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Andrew, his wife Olga and baby Avi are resting well.
