China still builds malls, and they are beautiful
New photos released on Monday reveal a step up in mall transportation. A massive new shopping complex in Shanghai features two sets of six-story spiral escalators.

Instead of running straight and side-by-side an opposite running escalator, these curve out into the mall atrium, one level at a time. You would have to walk across the mall in order to access the escalator that runs in the opposite direction.
