Nintendo announced its closure of its long-time loyalty program, Club Nintendo, on Tuesday.
Club Nintendo, which let customers collect coins from game purchases and exchange them for various prizes on the Club Nintendo website, has been beloved part of the gaming experience in the U.S. since 2008. The company will replace it with a new customer loyalty program, the details of which will be announced later this year
Members will be able to collect coins until March and redeem them until June of this year.
