A ridiculously huge number of people watched Ohio State defeat Oregon in the college football national championship on Monday night, a reminder that TV isn't quite dead yet, thanks primarily to live sports.
More than 33 million viewers tuned in during the game, making it the most-watched cable broadcast ever. The game also generated an 18.2 U.S. household rating, another record for cable TV.
