The GoFundMe campaign to raise money for a kidney transplant to benefit the father of Internet-famous Success Kid has reached its $80,000 goal after just one week of fundraising. It's currently on track to reach $100,000 with eight still left to go.
The success of the campaign means that Success Kid's dad, Justin Griner, and his family will have enough money to cover the cost of the transplant and various pre-medications not covered by Medicare.
